	Based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Panorama builds a range of fibreglass and concrete pools. In 2007 and 2008 our pools won Gold Awards in both the Queensland and National Swimming Pool and Spa Association awards, judged independently and by our competitors and peers we’re happy to receive the reccongnition. Now in 2009 we’re looking forward to the new year and seeing if we can make it a hat trick in the latter part of the year. 	Fibreglass Pools

	Panorama’s fibreglass pools are made from the highest quality materials utilizing industries best practice in glass construction. When you purchase a fibreglass pool you are purchasing from the Panorama Factory, we manufacture our own pools in our own plant at Noosaville and have done so for the last 32 years, 23 of those years with Greg Dodd managing and owning the plant. This experience means we have succinct expertise, directly derived from first hand experience. This expertise extends beyond the pool building experience with the factory having first hand knowledge and daily participation in the fabrication of incredibly strong fibreglass structures. Our boat line for example includes 12 metre Cloud Cruising Catamarans and the popular Eagleray Boats from 2.4m to 7m range of powerboats (www.eaglerayboats.com.au) both ranges are available ‘in survey’ for commercial application, demanding manufacturing excellence that quite literally people trust their lives to, Suffice to say, “we know fibreglass”, this means for you, well constructed and good value for money pools.

Back in 1988 when Greg was building the business we entered the SPASA national pool competition as a small Sunshine Builder to see how our pools stacked up on the national stage, and won first place with a gold award, a great yardstick confirming we were on the right track. 19 years later we are a much bigger pool builder with thousands of pools installed. The new general manager Clive Dodd suggested we participate in the awards process again to see how our pools perform on the Queensland stage, we won Gold again, moreover taking Silver on the national stage.

You’ll see over the years more awards as next time we’re not going to wait almost 20 years before entering a pool again.

This page shows the fibreglass pool shapes available to you, and a couple pictures of each pool. Our sales consultants travel with colour samples and a “brag book” with a good number of photos of our pool range.

We’d like to extend an invitation for you to visit our display centre, where you can see both a new pool and a pair of installed pools that which have been on display and operating for over 15 years. We are under no illusion, we’re putting our money where our mouth is on quality and longevity. You’ll be judging us on what you see in our backyard.

	Ideal for limited spaces the pool is ideal for courtyard installations. We’ve provided a generous seating area in the shallow end. The safety ledge circles the pool to provide a easy rest point for those not overly confident in the water.

	This rectangular formal pool, has a step and a swim out bench in every corner making it easy to place in any yard. The pool has flat ends providing a easy pool to use for laps or for installation of a swim jet training system. This pool incorporates two safety ledges which is outstanding for the kids.

	This is one of the three pools we have on display at our Maroochydore display centre, its been in the ground 15 years now so you’ll get a good feel for the longevity of the pools. As in all our pools it incorporates a safety ledge all the way around and a proportionally larger deep end area.

	The larger brother of the Royale 7. This pool has a terrific swim capacity with its rectangular shape, as per all our pools the floor, steps and seats feature a non slip stippled finish including the safety ledge to assist your swimmers who are gaining in confidence.

			This is a very large swimming pool that provides a long swim lane. We include a ceramic tile band of 300mm depth on this pool which provides an attractive addition


	How do we measure up?

The Queensland Building Services Authority and construction contracts talk in water measurements. Simply when you are in the pool what is the extent of the wet surfaces. If the dimensions are important to you (rather than just the shape and approximate size) be sure to check you are checking apples with apples and adjust your comparisons accordingly. Being a Queensland owned and operated company our ‘water dimensions’ adhere with the Queensland standard expectation.

Typically across the industry the pools shell will be approximately 300mm larger than the water line dimension

Typically across the industry the pools paved surround will typically be 700 to 950mm larger than the water line dimension

The pools depth varies but typically will be 50 - 150mm shallower than the pools shell dimension (it’s a variable relationship with the pools ever changing operating water height.
